Venice

Ah Venice. What a beautiful city. Every street looks like a painting and I wanted to photograph everything! I went to the top of the clock tower in St. Marcs Square and had this amazing view. It wasn't too high and there was a lift to the top which I liked. I went to the Doges Palace and the Peggy Guggenheim museum which was fantastic! Yoko Ono had given her a wish tree where you wrote your wish on a piece of paper and hung it on the tree.
It seems cruel that in a city built on water, you can't swim anywhere as its too dirty and there were LOTS of tourists but if you wander down the side streets its quiet and you lose your monkey self in the beauty of the place. And I didn't see any scary red dwarfs!

Verona

This is me at the opera in Verona. One of the best experiences so far on my travels. I sat in the big Roman open air arena and watched Madame Butterfly, amazing!

Next adventure

Well I'm feeling a bit poorly since my trip to Italy, i think i swallowed some nasty pool water but i am a monkey and i soldier on. I am returning to Italy today to see Venice for some more monkey adventures! I hope it isn't too hot though, the humidity plays havoc with my fur!

Florence

Ahh lovely Florence. It really was stunning, such beautiful buildings and many sculptures of naked people. I really liked the sculptures although some were a little bit scary, like the one with the man holding the head he just chopped off! I saw lots of Renaissance paintings here which was lovely too. The highlight was climbing up the Duamo (the big dome) and looking at the views from the top. After 463 winding stone steps you had to walk out around the top of the inside of the dome. I didn't like that, it was too scary looking down. You may think it strange for a monkey not to like heights but its true of this one.

Pisa

The leaning tower of Pisa was interesting, it looks like a drunk building. I thought about climbing up there but it didn't look too safe to me!

A very pretty cemetary also in Pisa. It was where all the posh people were buried. The roof burnt down and a lot of the murals were ruined during the war so lots of people were busy trying to restore them. No monkeys were buried here.

Lucca

This street is in Lucca, it was a lovely little town. It used to be surrounded by a moat many years ago but now has lots of grass around it. I cycled around the city walls which was so much fun and such a nice way for a monkey to get around.

Tuscany

Hai
So this is me by the pool in Tuscany. I put my speedos on and had a swim in the pool. The apartment was lovely and i had this pool all to myself. No other monkeys around but i did get chatting to a cat, a dog, some chickens and some rabbits. They didn't speak much English but i got by with my pigeon Italian.

Flowers

I bought these flowers the other day and now they are in full bloom. They are just so pretty. They smell like the beach.
I'm going on holiday soon...

How I started.

So once i got taken away from that awful supermarket, i became a pirate on the river Thames. I met a nice bird called Pecks and she said she was going to fly off to places and see the world so i thought i would like to do that too. I went to Portugal, Germany, Spain and Italy and saw many interesting things and met some nice people.

My dream is to go to California, maybe i will do that one day.
